  1. The Ottomans were behind the Jewish immigration to Palestine ...somehow Turkey, the derivative state of Ottoman Empire...started paying the price !!

  2. I think this not the historical facts.. Sultan Abdulhamid II had rejected the offer against premitting the Jewish to reside in Palestine.. Later while Ottoman Empire decompses; the British closed an eye in 1890th, then under their role had formally overwritten in 1919..

  3. It could be that Abdulhamid II rejected the immigration, but rejection without taking measures to prevent it will not clear the responsibility.

"Abdulhamid II fails in stopping Jewish immigration and land sales in Palestine. Abdulhamid’s failure comes in spite a large-scale effort to block the Zionist from buying parts of Palestine. Abdulhamid failure comes against the backdrop of large parts of the Empire declaring independence. In 1908, Abdulhamid was overthrown by his own military, claiming he was to blame for the Ottoman’s lost of territory"...so he was removed for the actual reasons that he objected to.. anyway..sale of land to the Jews...hidden immigration...all happened under the Ottoman Empire overburdened by foreign debts and eaten by corruption...the result was selling Arab lands and closing an eye on Jewish immigration...

  4. and for me the stand of the Turks now against Israel because they evaluated their interest scale and found that their openness towards the East is more profitable than the West...especially after the financial crisis...not history...not geography... purely financial...

  5. Thanks Jihad, it all came to support my point.. yet; current Turkish stand is part of their own restructuring.. I mean it has nothing to do with the ottomans history.. Otherwise, they would not bring their strategic relations with Israel to this unrecoverable point, warning they are strong friends, and strong enemies as well..!! There is massive political order in the making, no one can predict the outcomes..!!
