Police Brutality..

Recently, protests and debates are volatized in Egypt, after the death of a young man who was publicly beaten by policemen. Despite the contradicted claims on cause of death from both protesters and public prosecutors; the amount of public anger is unprecedented in a country ruled by the marshal laws for many decades..!! This alarms for potential strong shake-up across the police culture, organization and implementations; which are dated back to Pharaohs times..!!

In Egypt, as well as all ancient Oriental States; the foundations and principle of public service are sustainable despite the changes of political order and establishments. The same applies to India, China, Persia, Levant and Yemen; which till date witness various and sever forms of civic brutality led by police and plotter civic servants. The Western States; Roman, Greek, French and German had managed to reform the same; particularly in the early industrial era; thanks to strong law and order advocates..

The question is about the psychiatric foundations that make police personnel tend to use force against citizens. It is the same that constitutes anti-riot squads and paramilitary militias all over the world. Military are not such brutal, despite the nasty fame granted by Rambo and similar fictions..! I wonder, what wormholes within our humane culture that produce such extreme use of unjustified force against the unarmed..!!
It is a cultural and civic address..
Simply; it is a violation of Public Trust..!

Regretfully, in most countries, such a definition is vague and funny; yet it is a core of civilization..
Mercy for all, blind or enlightened..!!
