A Failed Nation.. 09.01.2011

We were listed, now we are a proven Failed Nation..!!
What shall we say to our kids..? How shall we dare to look into mirrors..?
As people, we had never been definitely-confident about our unity..!!
We had never been definitely-equal..!!
We just enjoyed the big talks..!!
Stop the false claims..!

Therefore, we share the politician all ...blames and responsibilities.. Especially who thinks it is their dawn for recognition; yet it is their slip into assured civil strives..!!

We lost a country that had been gifted to us..
Now we need to learn how to fight for it..!!
Are we ready or too old to go back to school..?

  2. I agree.. They need to send all the folks out, to know the value of Home..!! It will require a lot to value: Country, People and/or Identity.. I'm certain it will inevitably back to unite someday; regretfully I shall not be there to breathe such joy..!!

  3. Unfortunately my gut feeling is ,if the South break away the odds are one in a million that we will unite again. As they say the hardest is to gain money and the easiest is to spend it ,we did the easy bit and spent the value we had ,getting it back will not be that easy, however ,it is good to have hope ,always .

  4. Despite 30 years bigotry, prematurity and mismanagement; which prove being unable to run both country and nation; the drive for unity is a global, regardless of our own choices.. In addition, what unite us as “People” is much more than what separate us as “Political Toys” in hands of “Infant” politicians..!! The hope is only possible when we intelligently realize our stand, gains and losses.. Are we..??

  5. As a young nubawi, where should my stand be from a system that gave us nothing but wars and marginalisation?

  6. On 1982 I was badly named, when I called the “Sudanese in Exodus” as the sole hope for unity, development and prosperity.. My argument was simple, as those who went abroad had got rid of our social, political and cultural illnesses, while w...ould inevitably carry back seeds of change.. I had quitted organized politics since..!!
Currently; I believe the best we collectively do, is to expose the conceptual drain that our nation is heading to.. Thus, we help creating a momentum of illuminative enthusiastic breed that will sail towards the righteous shores.. It is a lengthy process, yet the only possible within reach..
Only need to be aware that temptations of negativity and anarchy are always more attractive; which already many of the young generations are fond of.. Thankfully, that concurrent global trends no longer recognize tribal or racial distinctions.. Myself being proud of many mixed bloods running in my veins.. Welcoming cousins from Fur, Nuba, Nubia, Danagla, Harr or Egypt..!!

  7. Adil, I really applause your enthusiasm and vision and kind of agree with it , as change to concepts and perceptions,it seems can only come through exposure to other world and values, kind of doing the translation of other cultures literature .However, I have to express my pessimism as through the decades ,those of us who has this kind of exposure ,went back and exploited the status quo
