The Bridge Tea Room

The Bridge Tea Room- Bradford on Avon🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Have you seen a typical English Tea Salon?
The truth is, there are thousands, but this one seemed spectacular to me.

As you enter The Bridge Tea Rooms, it appears to be directly through a time portal. Located in an ancient cottage dating back to 1502, in the historic city of Bradford-on-Avon, the tea shop is decorated as if it hasn't changed since the Victorian era.
With stone walls, dark wooden panels, formal portraits on the walls and camera music adding to the outdated atmosphere, the environment is perfectly complete with waiters dressed in the traditional Victorian costume.
If the walls could talk
The cabin has a long history. Originally built on a floor, a second level was added in 1675. It was a tailor's house and workshop, and then the local blacksmith who ran his business from the forging next door. Having been used as an antiques store for a while, it eventually became a tea lounge in 1989. Roy and Alison Hayward took over as owners of The Bridge Tea Rooms seven years ago after the previous couple took over will retire.
′′ When you think about the history this building has seen ", Alison said, ′′ it's amazing. If only walls could talk ".

Victorian Britain
The Victorian theme idea at The Bridge Tea Rooms was presented by previous owners, according to the history of tea rooms that began in th-century Britain. In an era of strict moral standards, tea rooms were one of the first places where Victorian-era women could have a drink without a male companion and not risk their reputation.
Today, The Bridge Tea Rooms welcomes many different customers from around the world. Located just eight miles from the spa city of Bath, and Bradford-on-Avon itself a popular tourist destination, business is a regular stop.
