Incredible Indian Subcontinent

My personal passion to Indian Subcontinent is well known for many who knows me.. Usually; my attractions to any culture are extracted from the its conceptual build up of epistemic mind set, common code of behavior and ethics, and convenient openness to others of the world.. Therefore, I believe that an Indian voyage for 3-5 months are essential to anyone claims to know Mankind..!!
Indian Subcontinent is one of the historic centers for knowledge and technology; with schools and scholars who had provided the world with philosophical insights and scientific referrals; while humbly yet extensively contributed to global knowledge.. Some may read such fact as Malthusian nature of a populous nation.. Others read as a melting point among several ancient civilizations that met in the Indus Valley.. Both are true..
The Mehrgarh and Harappan cultures were known in northern Indian subcontinent since 7000BC; which were followed with many others all over the vast territories.. The rise and decline of its empires, kingdoms, sultanates and dynasties; tell about how vast and resourceful it is.. I usually use the term “Subcontinent”; as the political and religious partitions were meant for colonial and political divide and control, rather than response to any historical or cultural facts.. Many fingers had managed to disturb the Subcontinent social and cultural fabrics, creating political tensions among its people; which regretfully had monopolized the mind-set of many Indians, Pakistanis, and Bengalis as well.. It is a fact that India has vast history, which is very complicated for outsiders to trace or understand, apart from the British..!!
Today, many intellectuals and politicians enjoy the dangerous and impressive play on religious chords, which concluded in 1.5 billion peoples who are allocating big portions of their resources for ridicules military and political competitions; while rates of poverty, efficient public service, adequate health care and proper education are considerably low.. The amazing fact that derivates of economic wealth, technological breakthrough, and industrial achievements are swallowed by corrupt politician and businessmen..yet the Subcontinent citizen is incredibly survive to earn living, knowing that much of his effort will not benefit back..!! Maybe this is the ancient civilization lesson on how to keep standing, dreaming and scarify for your beloved ones.. This is the Indian Mystery..
Hopefully, one day, the people will get together again, in a time of mega super powers.. that are driven by historical and geographical facts more than conceptual and controversial ones..

  1. In the near future when you will visit India again, you will witness a huge transformation from your last trip. Hopefully this time you will spend days absorbing the essence of India, the soul and spirit, which unfortunately is unknown to many a Indian! You will also witness, the irony that Indians, are perhaps the only people who are not proud of their country - their dreams and aspirations of being in a foreign land has always diluted their loyalty towards my country! Ruskin Bond, a famous "Indian" author of British parentage once said - if there were no barriers to international immigration and migration laws, India would never have a population problem. And i believe if this was to ever happen - we will be land of paradise sitting in a "ring of fire"!!!
