Do you think the USA will ever have another civil rights movement? What do you think it will/should be?
Maybe I have a different controversial point of view, as consider USA as the mirror of our human civilization.. I can prove the same in a lengthy text, but it is not the point.. If US society, culture, ambition, drama, etc., is the interpretation of all sociocultural derivatives of those immigrants who came from all over the world, it certainly tells not only the summary of human experiences, but also both simple and complex ambitions of each person.. No wonder it is the land of Opportunities, no wonder it has all extreme ideas across the board..
The beauty of the American culture that it continuously evolves without hesitation; but with lots of lobbying.. The awful wrongdoings of its administration is magnifications of all others, and the praised righteous deeds reflect all good wishers worldwide.. I guess we need to deeply neutrally examine the US system to understand and predict ours..
Coming back to your precise question; US culture had deep-rooted the act of law and public consensus as way for change.. No more calls for potentially-violent actions, as people value living rather than scarifying it.. If MLK come alive, he’d fail, yet his dream is coming further true.. USA had proved how among the printed newspaper, the microphone and the keyboard, great divides in mind set..
