Racism is the most deep rooted mindset in our legacy as Mankind.. It had factually motivated all achievements and atrocities.. It had inspired philosophies , religions and political theories and cults.. It shall not be wiped off by articles and postings.. It requires a comprehensive sociopolitical revolution..!

A Complete Psychological Analysis of Trump's Support

Science can help us make sense of the president's political invincibility.

Posted Dec 27, 2018
Whether we want to or not, we must try to understand the Donald Trump phenomenon, as it has completely swept the nation and also fiercely divided it. What is most baffling about it all is Trump’s apparent political invincibility. As he himself said even before he won the presidential election, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.” Unfortunately for the American people, this wild-sounding claim appears to be truer than not. It should also motivate us to explore the science underlying such peculiar human behavior, so we can learn from it, and potentially inoculate against it.
In all fairness, we should recognize that lying is sadly not uncommon for politicians on both sides of the political aisle, but the frequency and magnitude of the current president’s lies should have us all wondering why they haven’t destroyed his political career, and instead perhaps strengthened it. Similarly, we should be asking why his inflammatory rhetoric and numerous scandals haven’t sunk him. We are talking about a man who was caught on tape saying, “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.” Politically surviving that video is not normal, or anything close to it, and such a revelation would likely have been the end of Barack Obama or George Bush had it surfaced weeks before the election.

I don't care

I don't care if you love Trump. I don't care if you supported Obama. It doesn't phase me what color you are. I don't care if you believe in the Illuminati, or if there are aliens on the other side of the moon. All I know is, people traveled to distant lands with the intent on coming right back to live long, prosperous lives......... And never came home. Not every soldier that dies, will give their life on the battlefield. Some will give a foot, a leg, a hand, an arm. Some will give their health, their sight, their hearing. Some will give up sleep for restless nightmares. Some have unknowingly traded sanity for screaming. Not all soldiers die on the battlefield, many came back only to die in little bits and pieces until there is nothing left of themselves. Others are taking their own life........at a rate of 22 each day. Some gave all, but for sure........ALL gave something. You would do well this weekend, while you're stuffing yourself with brats and beer, to remember that nobody comes home from war whole. Putting all the politically divisive bullshit aside, it's ok for decent human beings to mourn the loss of other human beings. Thank you to all those who gave their life in service.......to those who never made it home.

Americans Are Turning Against Gay Marriage..

As anti-same-sex marriage laws across the country are being struck down, one after another, the country, it seems, is going backwards on its views. A recent Pew Poll thinks that people are lamenting the idea that religion is losing its hold on government (it is?) and they are less approving of gay marriage than they were a few months ago.
According to the poll, released Monday, 72 percent of Americans think there isn’t enough religion in life. That’s up five percent from 2010. Most Americans also see that as bad.

Perhaps as a consequence, a growing share of the American public wants religion to play a role in U.S. politics. The share of Americans who say churches and other houses of worship should express their views on social and political issues is up 6 points since the 2010 midterm elections (from 43% to 49%). The share who say there has been “too little” expression of religious faith and prayer from political leaders is up modestly over the same period (from 37% to 41%). And a growing minority of Americans (32%) think churches should endorse candidates for political office, though most continue to oppose such direct involvement by churches in electoral politics.

America in Decay

"Politics is a domain of final ends, subject to democratic contestation, but Administration is a realm of implementation, which could be studied empirically and subjected to scientific analysis.."
Max Weber
The issue of Civic Service is one of the infinitive legacies of Mankind.. This is not resulted from the continuous debates and arguments on efficiency and best practices, but due to the unspoken contradiction between the mighty tendencies: Anarchy & Order..

America in Decay: The Source of Political Dysfunction

The creation of the U.S. Forest Service at the turn of the twentieth century was the premier example of American state building during the Progressive Era. Prior to the passage of the Pendleton Act in 1883, public offices in the United States had been allocated by political parties on the basis of patronage. The Forest Service, in contrast, was the prototype of a new model of merit-based bureaucracy. It was staffed with university-educated agronomists and foresters chosen on the basis of competence and technical expertise, and its defining struggle was the successful effort by its initial leader, Gifford Pinchot, to secure bureaucratic autonomy and escape routine interference by Congress. At the time, the idea that forestry professionals, rather than politicians, should manage public lands and handle the department’s staffing was revolutionary, but it was vindicated by the service’s impressive performance. Several major academic studies have treated its early decades as a classic case of successful public administration.

Racial or Social Tension..?

State vs. People.. An American Spring..!!

It is not racial riot at Ferguson of Missouri
It is a social breakdown that Obama had escalated
Social Estate is not only Moneys in hands, but also Inspirations in hearts, and Integrations in minds..
Statistics tell that the loud failure of Obamacare had attracted attentions away from deep poverty and inequality among disadvantaged Americans..
Also, while Immigration debate uncontrollably triggered philosophical talks, it hides sever misery among the unfortunate earlier migrants..
Despite how citizen of US and most of industrialized world, have little or no interest in world order and politics, yet the noise associated with failed attempts to contain ISIL, ASAAD, PUTIN, KIM-IL, BASHEIR, LIBYA, and EBOLA
Obama PR disasters had gone to far to contain..
The Public needs a continuous feed of victories and excitements.. The minute you stop; the second they recall your ill-deliveries..!!

Watch out for Farrakhan guys..!!

The Architect of Obamacare

During the last 30 years; no political initiative was controversial as Obamacare did.. However, lots of people do not understand, not only worldwide, but within the USA itself.. Therefore, Commentators from all political orientations have a great yard to play..!!

The Architect of Obamacare, Ezekiel Emanuel, Interviewed by Megyn Kelly
David Leeper | October 28 2013

Obamacare is looking more and more like some sort of Rube-Goldberg parody of a healthcare system. Does this lumbering leviathan actually have some architects who still stand behind it?
The answer is yes, and in the video below, we get to see and hear one of them as Fox News’ Megyn Kelly tries to interview Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel. He is a bioethicist, which is a person who studies controversial ethics questions brought about by advances in biology and medicine

The core of the interview is about the president’s (in)famous promise that Americans who like their health care plan and doctors can keep both. And he promised premiums would go down. In practice, for millions, those promises are turning out to be false. Why is that, and who is to blame?
Emanuel blames the insurance companies, and (evidently) the insurance companies blame Obamacare, which has forced them to make so many “upgrades” that they have to terminate old policies and offer new ones compliant with Obamacare regulations.
Defenders of Obamacare say that insurance companies didn’t have to cancel old policies. But according to Obamacare’s critics, insurance companies really had no choice because any change at all to any policy makes it, by law, a “new” policy subject to mandatory coverages and other restrictions that come with Obamacare.

Did the president know he was making a promise that wouldn’t/couldn’t be kept? Or did he pay so little attention to detail that he actually thought people could keep their insurance plans and doctors? Did he even bother to care?
Does it matter?
I guess in the future, when the president or anyone else in Big Government starts making promises on just about anything, we should visualize them in a Hawaiian shirt with two gold chains, trying to sell us a used car.
And how do you feel about Dr. Emanuel making  ”bioethical” heath care decisions and promises for you and your family?

US in Egyptian Swamp..

Despite my reservations on the overall vision and mission of this institution, the article is great to shade lots of lights on confusing Egyptian, and Middle Eastern course of events and politics..
Just carefully read...

On their current trip to Cairo, Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), two of President Barack Obama's most persistent critics on everything in foreign policy from Syria to Benghazi, have found common cause with him at last.

All three fear that the anti-American (and generally anti-human) Muslim Brotherhood (MB), whom they mistakenly see as "moderate," will disappear from the halls of power in Egypt, our most important Arab ally. They also evidently worry that the MB's leading figures, such as now-deposed (and arrested) President Mohamed Morsi—who had awarded himself powers greater than any previous ruler in Egypt's history—will not be free to plot a return to power in an ancient nation that he had nearly destroyed in only one year.

Echoing earlier White House warnings, the two senior senators suggested that we may cut off our $1.6 billion in annual (mainly military) aid, the very tie that binds our countries together, as it has for more than thirty preciously peaceful years. Not to comply with their demands, McCain and Graham said August 6, would be—as Graham put it--a "huge mistake."

The White House, McCain and Graham have warned that the aid may be cut if the MB's leaders are not freed from detention—they have been under arrest since President Mohammed Morsi was overthrown July 3 by the military in response to the historically huge popular demonstrations at the end of June. (Morsi has since been charged for having been part of a 2011 prison break alleged to have been carried out by Hamas.)

They further demand that the MB be brought into the new transitional government of technocrats appointed by the quietly charismatic (and mysteriously Islamist, but apparently independent) strongman minister of defense, General Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi--who had himself been appointed by Morsi. That new government, headed by Adly Mansour (a Supreme Constitutional Court justice) as interim president and respected economist Dr. Hazem Beblawi as prime minister, claims it has reached out to the MB, which refuses to respond to its overtures. Meanwhile, the Islamists are gathered in two major squares in Cairo, waiting for the security forces to clear them away—and for the chance to be martyred when they do.

In response to McCain and Graham's warnings, Mansour denounced what he called "unacceptable interference in internal politics." In this, even a nation infamous for its political xenophobia can be forgiven for seeing a not-so hidden hand attempting to steer the ship of state.

But by blundering this way, Obama, McCain and Graham are joining the departing U.S. ambassador in Cairo, Anne Patterson—widely mocked (with gross inaccuracy) as a hayzaboon, or old crone, for reportedly hectoring Egyptians not to rise up against the elected government (which had turned itself into an Islamist dictatorship)—on a list of new Ugly Americans. She unfortunately gave this advice shortly before the largest demonstrations ever seen in human memory were directed against her suspected client, Morsi. (Reflecting heightened paranoia, her possible successor, Ambassador Robert Ford—who had previously served in Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq and Syria—is under considerable Twitter fire in Egypt, bizarrely accused of having caused the strife that has recently plagued those countries.)

And by going this route, Obama, McCain and Graham are risking one of America's most crucial alliances. They would do so for a not-so-beautiful friendship with a far from benign band of brothers that actually wants to conquer and rule the world (not just the Middle East) in a revived Islamic caliphate. (It is the same risk that Obama took when, after brief vacillation, he abruptly dumped our country's long-term "friend," Hosni Mubarak, in 2011, knowing that Islamists like the MB would likely be the only force capable of winning many votes in the new "democracy.")

The Brother's goals are hardly secret, despite eight decades of adroit, religiously-sanctioned lying, or taqiyya about their intentions. But they were elected, and so, it is said, we ought to support them. Then again, the U.S. cut off aid when Hamas, the MB's Palestinian branch, won parliamentary elections in 2006--because they refused to renounce terrorism, recognize the State of Israel, and accept agreements that the previous government had signed.

The MB undoubtedly believes that to get what it wants in the short-term—to halt the flow of American cash and equipment to its enemies in the military--is to continue to boycott the bogus "reconciliation" process. (Already, Obama has suspended the scheduled shipment of four F-16s last month, in a move that angered millions of Egyptians.)

If an aid stoppage should last, that could lead to the collapse of the transitional government and Morsi's reinstatement as president—the MB's irreducible demand. Hence they have resisted the senators' calls to dialogue with the new regime. There is no obvious reason for the Brotherhood to change this strategy.

The estimated eight-to-twelve billion dollars quickly coughed up by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to cover emergency imports of diesel fuel and wheat and to rebuild depleted hard-currency reserves are surely crucial for now. But if the military—Egypt's most prestigious institution and itself a pillar of the economy—should have nowhere else to go, Russia and China are always waiting in the wings, and would love to have a presence on both the Nile and Suez.

Refusing to recognize that popular will can mean more than just elections, America's "huge mistake" begins. Given that the ratio of MB opponents to supporters is now perhaps seven-to-one, added to the resentment that most Egyptians feel against any effort to tie vital aid to the tyrannical MB, and the wildly-popular al-Sisi's own fury at the Brotherhood for pushing him (and most Egyptians) into such a place, it is likely Morsi's side that will fail.

And with it, our own.

Has the sexual revolution been good for American women?

25 Signs American Women Are Being Destroyed By The Sexual Revolution And Our Promiscuous Culture

By Michael Snyder, on January 21st, 2013

Lady Gaga - Symbol Of The Modern American Woman

Has the sexual revolution been good for American women?  Not at all.  In fact, when you look at the facts it becomes clear that the sexual revolution has been an absolute disaster for American women.  In the United States today, men have been trained to primarily view women as sex objects, and our culture has become exceedingly promiscuous.

As a result, the United States leads the world in teen pregnancy, there are 19 million new STD infections every single year, more than half of all children born to women under the age of 30 are being born out of wedlock and we are witnessing the systematic breakdown of the family unit in America.  And yet anyone that tries to teach our young women that they should dress modestly and keep themselves pure for marriage is severely criticized.

Well, if all Americans actually did keep themselves pure until marriage, we wouldn’t have nearly the problems with STDs, teen pregnancy and abortion that we do today.  The consequences of teaching our young women that they should be “free” to run around and sleep with a whole bunch of different men have been dramatic.

The following are 25 signs that American women are being destroyed by the sexual revolution and our promiscuous culture…

#1 There are 19 million new STD infections in the United States every single year.  Approximately half of them happen to young people in the 15 to 24-year-old age bracket.
#2 It costs the U.S. health care system approximately $17,000,000,000 every single year to treat sexually transmitted diseases.
#3 There were more than 1.4 million cases of chlamydia reported in the United States in 2011.  An astounding 33 percent of those cases involved Americans that were younger than 20 years of age.
#4 It is estimated that about one out of every six Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 have genital herpes.
#5 24,000 American women become infertile each year due to undiagnosed STDs.
#6 In the United States today, approximately 47 percent of all high school students have had sex.
#7 Sadly, one out of every four teen girls in the U.S. has at least one sexually transmitted disease.
#8 According to one survey, 24 percent of all U.S. teens that have STDs say that they still have unprotected sex.
#9 Amazingly, one out of every five teen girls in the U.S. actually wants to be a teenage mother.
#10 If you can believe it, the United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate on the entire planet.  In fact, the United States has a teen pregnancy rate that is more than twice as high as Canada, more than three times as high as France and more than seven times as high as Japan.
#11 When men don’t have to wait until they get married to have sex, then they are likely to delay marriage or never get married at all.  According to the Pew Research Center, only 51 percent of all Americans that are at least 18 years old are currently married.  Back in 1960, 72 percent of all U.S. adults were married.
#12 Today, an all-time low 44.2 percent of all Americans between the ages of 25 and 34 are married.
#13 In the United States today, more than half of all couples “move in together” before they get married.
#14 The divorce rate for couples that live together first is significantly higher than for those that do not.
#15 America has the highest divorce rate on the globe by a wide margin.
#16 For women under the age of 30 living in the United States today, more than half of all babies are being born out of wedlock.
#17 At this point, more than one out of every four children in the United States is being raised by a single parent.
#18 Approximately 42 percent of all single mothers in the United States are on food stamps.
#19 The sexual revolution has caused women to be primarily looked at as sex objects.  In this kind of environment, it should be no surprise that there has been an absolute explosion of pornography in recent years.  An astounding 30 percent of all Internet traffic now goes to pornography websites, and the U.S. produces more pornography than any other nation has in the history of the world.
#20 One survey discovered that 25 percent of all employees that have Internet access in America visit sex websites while they are at work.
#21 Overall, more than 50 million babies have been killed in America since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.
#22 When you total up all forms of abortion, including those caused by the abortion drug RU 486, the grand total comes to more than a million abortions performed in the United States every single year.
#23 The number of American babies killed by abortion each year is roughly equal to the number of U.S. military deaths that have occurred in all of the wars that the United States has ever been involved in combined.
#24 It has been reported that a staggering 41 percent of all New York City pregnancies end in abortion.
#25 One study found that 86 percent of all abortions are done for the sake of convenience.

So what can be done about any of this?

Unfortunately, turning our culture around would not be an easy thing.  Loose sexuality is glorified on television, in the movies, on our radios and in our magazines.  Just about everywhere you turn there are very powerful sexual images.

The following is an excerpt from a recent article by Devvy Kidd
America’s culture has come a long way since the 60s. For decades it has resembled a filthy sewer and shows no signs of returning to decency. Children are being sexualized with markets targeting little girls as young as kindergarten age. Cable television (which includes ABC, CBS, NBC) has become nothing more than a purveyor of soft porn. Sexual imagery is everywhere. The filth used to be confined to porn channels like HBO, Cinemax and others which I have never had in my home. Now, it’s the ‘big three’ (ABC, CBS, NBC) and all the other networks that consistently pump sin and sex into households every night of the week.

Meanwhile, we have raised an entire generation of young males that don’t know how to be men.  Our culture has taught them to be extremely hesitant to be husbands and fathers, and instead it has taught them to be sex-obsessed idiots that want to “score” with as many women as possible.
As long as our culture pushes these values, we will continue to suffer the kinds of consequences listed above.
So what do all of you think about these things?
Do you believe that there is any hope for America?

Making America Gay-Friendly..

Joe Biden Attributes Social Liberalism to Jewish Control of Hollywood and ‘Social Media’
By Patrick Brennan
May 23, 2013

Vice President Joe Biden offered praise for the Jewish community that raised some eyebrows and seems to have delighted anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists. At a DNC event for Jewish American Heritage Month on Tuesday evening, after noting Jewish Americans’ disproportionate representation in Congress, impressive share of Nobel Prizes, and role in the civil-rights and womens’-rights movements, Biden then praised their work in behalf of gay marriage via their control of the media.
“I believe what affects the movements in America, what affects our attitudes in America are as much the culture and the arts as anything else,” he explained, “. . . Think behind of all that, I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry.”

Biden also cited one of his favorite explanations for the success of gay marriage — “it wasn’t anything we legislatively did. It was Will and Grace, it was the social media. Literally. That’s what changed peoples’ attitudes. That’s why I was so certain that the vast majority of people would embrace and rapidly embrace” the measure.

In those developments, Biden explained, “the influence [of Jewish people] is immense. The influence is immense.”

The vice president’s comments have been seized upon and praised by a range of anti-Semitic and white-supremacist groups and websites, even though he said, “I might add” the Jewish community’s influence in the media “is all to the good.”

American GDP: The Fantastic Fiction of American Economic Strength
By Dan Collins

Is the U.S. economy still the most powerful in the world? That is what we are told as the United States does have by far the world’s largest Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In fact, American GDP is larger than the next three largest economies combined which are China, Japan, and Germany. Is the United States economy really larger than the world’s second, third, and forth-largest economies combined? This is an important question as GDP is one of the holy grails of today’s economists and policy makers. If we can only make GDP rise, we are assured we will grow our way out of our economic problems. American GDP in 2011 was roughly $15 trillion U.S dollars. The next 3 largest economies China (6T), Japan (6T), and Germany (3T) combined at a GDP in 2011 of also roughly $15 trillion U.S. dollars.

But let’s look at some of the real production statistics in each of the economies. I will compare the U.S. with its $15 trillion dollar economy against the next three largest economies which I will refer to as the “Block Of 3” which comprises China, Japan, and Germany and their combined GDP of $15 trillion USD. Be prepared to be shocked. Total exports from the U.S. last year were $1.5 trillion USD. The Block of 3 had total exports of $4 trillion. The U.S. produced 86 million tons of steel in 2011, the Block of 3 produced ten times that number with 835 million tons of steel. The U.S. produced 8.7 million cars in 2011. The Block of 3 produced 4 times that number with 33 million units produced. In the Internet and communications area, the U.S. has 245 million Internet users; the Block of 3 has 681 million Internet users. Total mobile phone subscriber numbers are even more lopsided with the U.S. having 328 million mobile phone subscribers with the Block of 3 having 1.2 billion subscribers.

In terms of national wealth, China alone now has a total household net worth larger than the U.S. with $69 trillion in household wealth versus $57 trillion. So where is the disconnected? Most of us will remember from Economics 101 the GDP calculation is as follows.

GDP = private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports – imports)

When we analyze the U.S. GDP numbers compared to the world’s next 3 largest economies or the Block of 3, we can see the U.S. still runs and has run massive trade deficits so the “(exports-imports)” part of the equation will hurt the U.S. GDP numbers.

Gross investment has been declining for a decade in the U.S. so the gross investment side of the U.S. GDP calculation is also a negative. In 2006, U.S. housing starts were averaging 1.6 million units per month. In 2012, we are excited when the number is over 300,000 per month. In 2007 our total vehicle production was 13 million units, however, in 2011 we produced only 8.7 million units. Clearly the production investment side of the economy in the U.S. is not helping the GDP numbers.

When we look back at the GDP calculation that leaves us government spending and consumption, which is basically what the U.S. economy has become. Consumption is now 73% of the U.S. GDP calculation. Where does our spending and consumption come from but, of course, printed money as the Federal Reserve last year bought close to 80% of new Treasury debt.

What has really been going on in this economy is a government induced bubble that has developed over the last several decades where total credit in the economy has grown from $1 trillion to $50 trillion in the last 43 years.

The hard reality facing policy makers today is that the entire U.S. economy is a ponzi scheme based on cheap credit. This massive explosion of debt and credit has resulted and aided in the transformation of the U.S. economy from production into one of consumption. General Electric quickly focused on moving into media and finance as opposed to producing things. Production based business were sold off or offshored. General Motors started financing home loans through GMAC instead of fixing their car business. We built homes that no one needed. All the classic signs of malinvestment created by a credit boom were there. Our real productive sectors of the economy have fallen off a cliff and we have attempted to mask this with government handouts and money printing.

Clearly the entire American economic system needs radical restructuring. Governments must be radically downsized. We have a tax system which has the world’s highest corporate rates yet collects little or nothing from the countries largest corporations. There is no real market for home loans anymore with the government being the lender of last resort through Fannie, Freddie, and the FHA. Savers are being robbed of their interest payments on their capital by the Federal Reserve’s manipulation of interest rates. Rule-of-law has been replaced with rule-by-lawyer as rent seeking by the legal profession in this economy runs rampant.

American GDP is a bubble propped up by government spending, government hiring, consumer credit and debt. The Fed prints money sending it into the economic ecosystem in order to bring up the demand curve for goods and services, which creates GDP, or in our case consumption. The economy is so far unbalanced and so far in debt that default and the accompanying depression may be the only ways out of the situation. Without major structural reform the United States will continue to see jobless “recovery” after jobless recovery. There needs to be a focus on production and real wealth creation as opposed to false economic statistics such as the GDP number which is no longer the barometer of a healthily economy.

The comparison between US & B3 is structurally faulty, as based on mathematics, which inevitably ignores lots of management and operational issues.. The true comparison should be relative and proportional between each US & each of B3 countries.. However, the mightiness of the American supremacy is an enigma, which requires more visionary and integrity to assess..

Between the lines of Michelle lots of American values are laid, which, in my opinion drive the unbeatable USA.. This is not on sovereign issues, but on the personal one..

Despite how the “Red Necks” are weird, they are seeds of the mighty agro business.. Despite how most “Latinos” are illiterate, they are seeds of leading retail business.. Despite how most “People of Color” are low ranked, they are the bricks of pioneering knowledge economy.. Despite how many “Whiteis” are arrogant or racist; they fuel since and technology.. Despite how many “Money Makers” trade ethics, they have unspoken taste for family and religion..

Therefore.. It is an Enigma..!!

Because it is composed from world migrants; I always call it: "The Mirror of Mankind.." with all our drivatives, sins, blessings and potentials..

Mohd Fudzail Mohd Nor qouted Rev. Jesse Jackson:
"America is not like a blanket, one piece of unbroken cloth. America is more like a quilt-many patches, many pieces, many colors, many sizes, all woven together by a common thread"

So, what is the Magical Thread..?
That make it different from all other migration hubs..?
Maybe, it is the $1 mln question..therefore I call it Enigma..!!

Temprature & Crime..

High temperatures cause violent crime and implications for climate change

I've posted about high temperature inducing individuals to exhibit more violent behavior when driving, playing baseball and prowling bars. These cases are neat anecdotes that let us see the "pure aggression" response in lab-like conditions. But they don't affect most of us too much. But violent crime in the real world affects everyone. Earlier, I posted a paper by Jacob et al. that looked at assault in the USA for about a decade - they found that higher temperatures lead to more assault and that the rise in violent crimes rose more quickly than the analogous rise in non-violent property-crime, an indicator that there is a "pure aggression" component to the rise in violent crime.

A new working paper "Crime, Weather, and Climate Change" by recent Harvard grad Matthew Ranson puts together an impressive data set of all types of crime in USA counties for 50 years. The results tell the aggression story using street-level data very clearly:

Note that all crime increases as temperatures rise from 0 F to about 50 F. It seems reasonable to hypothesize that a lot of this pattern comes from "logistical constraints", eg. it's hard to steal a car when it's covered in snow. But above 60 F, only the violent crimes continue to go up: murder, rape, and assault. The comparison between murder and manslaughter is elegantly telling, as manslaughter should be less motivated by malicious intent.

Ranson goes on to make projections about the expected effect of climate change:
Between 2010 and 2099, climate change will cause an additional 30,000 murders, 200,000 cases of rape, 1.4 million aggravated assaults, 2.2 million simple assaults, 400,000 robberies, 3.2 million burglaries, 3.0 million cases of larceny, and 1.3 million cases of vehicle theft in the United States.

This is pretty serious stuff. Ranson also shows that these effects haven't changed much over time, so the prospects for adaptation may be low. And there's no reason to believe that this relationship, which is probably neuro-physiological, doesn't hold outside of the USA.

A Great City’s Collapse..

The Tragedy of Detroit
October 6, 2009
How Immigration and Multiculturalism Destroyed It…

For 15 years, from the mid 1970s to 1990, I worked in Detroit, Michigan. I watched it descend into the abyss of crime, debauchery, gun play, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs and human depravity. I watched entire city blocks burned out. I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses and school yards. Trash everywhere! Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it and ignored it.

Tens of thousands and then, hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing and food stamps! With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10 and in once case, one woman birthed 24 kids as reported by the Detroit Free Press—all on American taxpayer dollars. A new child meant a new car payment, new TV and whatever mom wanted. I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “Great Society” flourish in Detroit. If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing.

Mayor Coleman Young, perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America, outside of Richard Daley in Chicago, rode Detroit down to its knees. He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence and arrogance. As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The IC meant ‘in charge’. You can figure out the rest. Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans.

As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state. Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today. At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan, but most work in Detroit.

As the Muslims moved in, the whites moved out. As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife! Detroit may be one our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike and total separation from America.

Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islamic mosques in Michigan, paid for by Saudi Arabia oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America. English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing. Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city.

In this week’s Time Magazine October 4, 2009, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened.

“If Detroit had been savaged by a hurricane and submerged by a ravenous flood, we’d know a lot more about it,” said Daniel Okrent. “If drought and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we’d see it on the evening news every night. Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it — if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice.

But Detroit, once our fourth largest city, now 11th and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country. Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision-making.”

As Coleman Young’s corruption brought the city to its knees, no amount of federal dollars could save the incredible payoffs, kick backs and illegality permeating his administration. I witnessed the city’s death from the seat of my 18-wheeler tractor trailer because I moved people out of every sector of decaying Detroit.

“By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit’s treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services,” Okrent said. “The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers’ union to reject a philanthropist’s offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans, unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit, the unemployment rate is 28.9%. That’s worth spelling out: twenty-eight point nine percent.”

At the end of Okrent’s report, and he will write a dozen more about Detroit, he said, “That’s because the story of Detroit is not simply one of a great city’s collapse. It’s also about the erosion of the industries that helped build the country we know today. The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century. If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can’t find a way to get up, what does that say about our future?”

As you read in my book review of Chris Steiner’s book, $20 Per Gallon, the auto industry won’t come back. Immigration will keep pouring more and more uneducated third world immigrants from the Middle East into Detroit—thus creating a beachhead for Islamic hegemony in America. If 50 percent illiteracy continues, we will see more homegrown terrorists spawned out of the Muslim ghettos of Detroit. Illiteracy plus Islam equals walking human bombs. You have already seen it in the Madrid, Spain, London, England and Paris, France with train bombings, subway bombings and riots. As their numbers grow, so will their power to enact their barbaric Sharia Law that negates republican forms of government, first amendment rights and subjugates women to the lowest rungs on the human ladder. We will see more honor killings by upset husbands, fathers and brothers that demand subjugation by their daughters, sisters and wives. Muslims prefer beheadings of women to scare the hell out of any other members of their sect from straying.

Multiculturalism: what a perfect method to kill our language, culture, country and way of life.

US & Muslim Brotherhood

An Atempt to answer the big Question..
Why US Administration supports Muslim Brotherhood, despite the undoubtable history of violence and strategic programs for Islamization of the world..!!
Yes, the program is Anti-Obama; but it stills presenting a legitmate case for debate, understanding and get ready for appropriate actions..

Amazingly enough, how Democrates, Republicans, Media and  Lobbies are sharing the unprecedented crime and guilt..!!

Sex, Lies and Julian Assange

When Julian Assange arrived in Sweden in August 2010 he was greeted like a conquering hero. But within weeks there was a warrant out for his arrest and he was being investigated for rape and sexual molestation. Today he is taking sanctuary in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, arguing he won't receive justice if he's taken to Sweden and that US authorities are building a case for his extradition.

Next, Four Corners reporter Andrew Fowler examines in detail what happened in those crucial weeks while Julian Assange was in Sweden. What was the nature of his relationship with the two women who claim he assaulted them? And what did they tell police that led the authorities to seek his arrest?

"I will not tell any media how I am going to represent the women in court." Lawyer for Anna Ardin and Sofia Wilén
Both Assange and his supporters believe the attempt by authorities to force his return to Sweden is simply the first step in a plan to see him extradited to the United States.
"Sweden has frankly always been the United States' lapdog and it's not a matter we're particularly proud of." Assange supporter
"The US has nothing to do with the issue here, it's simply a matter between the UK and Sweden." Jeffrey L. Bleich, US Ambassador to Australia

Reporter Andrew Fowler goes to Sweden for a revealing look at the allegations of sexual crimes hanging over Julian Assange's head
Four Corners looks at claims the United States is working hard to unearth evidence that would lead to a charge of "conspiracy to commit espionage" being made against Assange - which in turn would be used in his extradition from Sweden. The program also documents the harassment experienced by Assange's supporters across the globe - including his Australian lawyer - and the FBI's attempts to convince some to give evidence against him.

"Sex, Lies and Julian Assange", reported by Andrew Fowler and presented by Kerry O'Brien, goes to air on Monday 23rd July at 8.30pm on ABC1. It is replayed on Tuesday 24th July at 11.35pm. It can also be seen on ABC News 24 at 8.00pm Saturday, ABC iview and at 4 Corners.

Seven Minutes of Terror

Here's an interesting engineering challenge. Fly an unmanned spacecraft carrying a 2,000 pound rover 300 million miles to Mars. Smash into the planet's extremely thin atmosphere at 13,000 mph, which will light up the craft's heat shield like the sun, reaching temperatures of 1,600 degrees. The atmosphere will slow your craft down to about 1,000 mph, but you will need to figure out a way to eventually slow to zero, jettison the heat shield and simultaneously guide the ship to a safe landing in the constrained space of the Gale crater.

A supersonic parachute will slow you down to 200 mph, but you're still coming in too hot for a landing. It's time to exercise your pyrotechnic devices, blasting rockets to divert the craft away from the parachute. These rockets can't get too close to the ground because they might create a massive dust cloud and damage the rover's equipment. So a sky crane will have to gently lower the rover to the surface (A so-called 'rover on a rope': is it genius or crazy or a lot of both?).

This sequence is dramatized in a thrilling video below, which NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab has dubbed the "seven minutes of terror," as it will take seven minutes for the craft to travel from the top of the atmosphere to the surface of the planet. It will take 14 minutes to transmit the signal back to Earth, meaning you will have to wait in agonizing uncertainty for seven minutes, not knowing whether your $2.5 billion mission is a success or failure.

You give up? No one would blame you.

Adam Steltzner did not give up. In fact, the NASA engineer has spent the last nine years of his life leading a team to solve this problem. Given the margin for error -- which is zero -- it is a good thing that Steltzner is a cool cat, which is how NPR described him in a recent profile. We are rooting for his efforts to come to fruition early Monday, when the Mars rover is scheduled to complete its nine-month journey. On the other hand, if anything goes wrong in the sequence described above, Steltzner's mission will fail. Like those odds?

What's the Big Idea?
The highly complex field of spacecraft engineering, not surprisingly, is clouded with the kind of jargon The Associated Press describes as "a sort of Martian alphabet soup."

Steltzner's team is responsible for EDL, or Entry, Decent and Landing, the crucial phase of the Curiosity mission outlined in the video above. Steltzner's team had to custom design a landing system for a rover that is five times heavier than previous ones sent to Mars. They also had to contend with the challenge of the Red Planet's extremely thin atmosphere. A new parachute and rocket system had to be custom designed as well. And yet, the team's signature innovation is the way it all works together.

Therefore, if successful, this mission will be the triumph of both teamwork and leadership. The teamwork involved nearly a decade of tinkering the system's design. The leadership has come from the steady hand of Steltzner, who traded a career in rock n' roll for physics. His former career as a bassist appears to be suiting him well at NASA. In the face of adversity, Steltzner advises his team to keep themselves "like, chill, and focused and not freaking."

Two out of every three missions to Mars end in failure. Hero or goat, we commend Steltzner for driving his team to attempt the seemingly impossible, and will be inviting him to appear on Big Think.

As X Prize Founder and space pioneer Peter Diamandis tells us below, every radical breakthrough began as "a crazy idea." The commercial space industry is a perfect example. People didn't want to invest in the idea because they didn't believe it was possible. From a leadership standpoint, Diamandis tells us, you need to make people believe it is possible.

What's the Significance?
The significance of the Curiosity rover mission is twofold. If NASA's team is able to successfully complete this engineering challenge, the landing will be a feat unto itself. Furthermore, if Curiosity isn't consumed in a fireball, the machine will go on to conduct a geological survey of the planet for one Martian year (or 687 Earth days). Its first discovery might be imminent. Curiosity is touching down on the Gale Crater because scientists believe the sediment there will contain evidence that there was once a habitable environment on Mars.

Recommended:
You can give yourself a front row seat in a video game that resulted from a partnership between NASA and Microsoft called The Mars Rover Landing. The game is available as a free download at Xbox Live. NASA's engineers describe the gaming experience as very similar to what the actual landing will be like.

SLM Minnawi

Been welcomed in the Oval Office is not a coincidence nor a courtesy..!!

Personally, I do not trust Minni Minnawi; who had managed to politicalize relations among all rivals in Darfur, taking the case from a simple social deformation into wider political one..
After milking Inqaz, and having a truce to build up his forces (as seen in the video) he defected to the South then back to Darfur..
His charismatic and skillful politics would question the role he is backed up for.. SLM (Minnawi) as a strong 10,000 rebellions, with good military order and commanding chain.. Such preparedness environment and funds requires lot to invest..
They are an army in the making..
Where are they from AfroCom..?
