الأقليات والأغلبية

 

بالتأكيد، في أي موقع جغرافي؛ ستُبنى دولة تُسيطر حتمًا على الأقليات داخلها. لكل دولة أقليات تسعى لتقرير مصيرها وبناء هويتها. ومع ذلك، فالتاريخ ليس رحيمًا ولا ساذجًا عندما يتعلق الأمر بالأمن القومي وحماية وجود الأغلبية. ومع ذلك، فإن "التحضر" هو السبيل الوحيد المُثبت لتهدئة هذا التوتر، حيث يُدرك الناس أن وجودهم الحيوي أهم من الهوية الثقافية أو السمات؛ التي تتحول في النهاية إلى احتفالات فولكلورية. هذا ما استنتجته من إحياء التراث الراسخ. في موازاة ذلك، ستدفع النخب القبلية المُرتبكة وغير الأصيلة ، العامة نحو إحياء السمات المُضمحلة، التي دائمًا ما تتحول إلى قبيحة مع الصراعات المسلحة والفظائع الجنونية، التي تشهدونها في دارفور وجنوب الصحراء الكبرى. يمكن للناس العاديين أن يعيشوا معًا بسعادة رغم اختلافاتهم الثقافية أو العرقية، ولكن مجموعات المصالح الخاصة لن تسمح لهم أبدًا بالاستمرار في ذلك ... !!

Certainly, within any geographic location; a state will be structured, which inevitably dominates the minorities within.. Each state has minorities who seek self determination and identity.. Yet, history is not that merciful, nor naïve when it comes to national security and protection of the majority's existence. However, "urbanity" is the only proven course to defuse such tension, where people realize that their vital existence is more important than cultural identification or attributes; which eventually turn to be folkloric celebrations. This is what I had concluded from the revitalization of immovable heritage. On parallel, both confused and unauthentic tribal elites would drive the commons towards the revival of diminishing attributes, which always turn ugly with armed conflicts and insane atrocities, which you are witnessing in Darfur and Sub-Sahara. Commons would live together happily across their cultural or ethnic divides, but Groups of Interest will never let them continue to do...!!
