عشرة أطفال كانوا يلعبون بجوار سكة حديدية

تسعة منهم اختاروا أن يلعبوا بجوار خط يمر عليه القطار كل فترة، بينما اختار الطفل العاشر اللعب بمفرده بجوار خط مهجور للسكك الحديدية

وحين لمح عامل السكة الحديد القطار القادم أصابه الهلع خوفاً على حياة الأطفال التسعة، الذين يلعبون على خط السكة، الذى سيمر عليه القطار.. فكَّر الرجل بسرعة، وقرر تحويل مسار القطار ليسير على الخط المهجور، حيث إن هناك طفلاً واحداً فقط يلعب هناك

فبذلك هو أنقذ حياة التسعة أطفال.. أي أن هذا القرار حقق أقل خسائر ممكنة

للوهلة الأولى يتبين لنا أن عامل السكك الحديدية قد اختار القرار الصحيح بمنطق الكم

ولكن حين نفكر بمنطق الكيف سنكتشف أنه قد أخطأ

فالطفل الذي ضحى به عامل السكة الحديد كان أذكى الأطفال العشرة، لأنه الوحيد الذى فكر واختار القرار الصحيح باللعب فى المنطقة الآمنة

أما البقية الذين أنقذ العامل حياتهم فهم الأغبياء والمستهترون الذين لم يفكروا بطريقة صحيحة، واختاروا اللعب في منطقة الخطر

ربما يبدو أن هذا التحليل غير منطقي وغير عاطفي لدى البعض

إلا أن هذا هو الفارق الشاسع بين المجتمعات التي تصنع الذكاء والغباء بين أفرادها.. فالمجتمعات الغبية تضحي بالأذكياء والأكفاء

أما فى المجتمعات الذكية عند الدول المتقدمة فتلهث القيادات وراء العقول، وتنفق عليها؛ لأن الأذكياء والعقلاء والنابهين يقودون المجتمع ويصنعون السعادة حتى للأغبياء أيضاً

الخلاصة :هناك مجتمعات تصنع الذكاء واخرى تصنع الغباء

Ten children were playing next to a railroad.

The child sacrificed by the railway worker was the smartest of the 10 children, because he was the only one who thought and chose the right decision to play in the safe area.

The rest of the workers whose lives were saved were idiots and under perceptions who did not think properly and chose to play in the danger zone.

This analysis may seem illogical and unemotional to some...

However, this is the vast difference between societies that make intelligence and stupidity among their members. Stupid societies sacrifice the smart and competent.

In smart societies in developed countries, leaders are panting behind minds and spending on them, because smart, wise and benefactors lead society and make happiness even for idiots as well.

Bottom line: There are societies that make intelligence and others that make stupidity
