I strongly believe that Niqab is a cultural not religious application; which w’d drive the ongoing Niqab debate in different mode.. I enthropologically found it among nomades of western China, nomades in Gujrat & Rajastan of India and Beduins of southern Arabia.
For most of them; Niqab is mysteriously meant to cover the mouth, not the face..!! Among Beduins of Sahara, only males use the Niqab, for functional reasons..!!
So far, I did not find any Islamic refrence in support for the Niqab, nevertheless the emotional yet almost-illiterate arguments..
The only valid case, yet controversial, is related to those extremely face-attractive to trigger, or correctly, to destruct believers from their decency..
I appreciate if anyone can provide reference within an intellectual debate..!!
