Cow-Head Protest..

Apparently the ruling coalition in Malaysia had lost the battle to launch a new socio political initiative.. Najib, the new Prime Minister; had commenced his 1st term with call of “1st Malaysia”; symbolizing the interest of the Malaysian intelligentsia to bridge the further wider and dangerous racial divide..

Only Malaysia and Lebanon who had a political regime based on racial and ethnic patterns..!! To eliminate such historical and dominating social order, a huge exercise should take place, having in mind the confrontation of ethnic-business leaders, who manage to build their wealth on that awful divide and backwards mind set.. and ready to shed bloods to maintain their position..

The latest “Cow-Head” protest in Selangor came as a loud slab on the face on the new UMNO Government.. The angry commons were triggered by radical islamists protested permitting a Hindu Temple in their neighborhood, walking in the street with a slaughtered head of a cow, which is the sacred animal for Hindus..

It seems a great backward step in the peaceful yet fragile social order in a promising nation.. Simply, politicians are far from sincere adherence to commons’ interests, neglecting the opportunities that would never be repeated to score high among Asian Tigers.. It seems Malaysia would lose the race among others, as the nation structure declining and collapsing.. Asian Tigers had established their promising achievements on tight and strong social order that recruit the nations in one strong hold line..

This is a Leadership crisis, which marked the last 15 years since the step-down of Dr M... Malaysia, a multi ethnic, multi geographic and multi political nation, is now going without an influential leader, only with momentum of the past, and false hopes on the future, which none of the recent politicians can grant or deliver..

I can feel and share the pain the many Malaysian would suffer..
Broken Hopes, shocking unrest, and unjustified frustration..

Sharing the same big question: what’s next?

  1. ethnic tension is here to stay, there is no racial unity unlike back in pre independence days.

  2. But why? Do Malaysian need a foreign or colonial power to love each other? I know it had never been 100% integration among races, and would never be , anywhere.. But we learn to live with acceptable compromises.. Concurrently, people declare inability to compromise, regardless..!! There is nothing in life without compromise.. even religion.. You scarify pleasures for divine rewards..!! Somebody should launch a campaign for people to get it right, without illusions.. or false promises.. Hopefully!!

  3. Well malays in general are gentle people, things we dont like we just keep in our hearts..so I dont think these guys would have done it without some provocations from certain quarters with certain agendas (read between the lines). What they did was stupid nevertheless..never thought this would happen here in Malaysia.
