Doha Fires..!

It takes time, efforts to build the civic safety mindset..!

The causes of the fire were not known, but the interior ministry said that it broke out at Gate Three. Witnesses said that at least two major shops there were gutted by the fire.
Villagio is one of the most popular shopping and recreational malls in Qatar and features several facilities including cinemas, shops, a theme park and the Venetian Canal that allows visitors to board genuine Venetian gondolas.

The Qatari civil defence has managed to contain a large fire which started at 10am this morning, reported the official Qatar News Agency (QNA).
According to civil defence officials, the fire started in a sport utilities shop located close to Al Deera Souq.
The stacking of goods and strong winds helped the fire to spread to adjoining shops. There were no deaths or injuries, reported QNA.

Five Sri Lankans have died in a fire accident in Doha, Qatar, midnight yesterday. Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment Chairman, Kingsley Ranawaka said that immediate measures will be taken in collaboration with the Sri Lankan embassy there. Two more Sri Lankans are said to be critical.

No one was injured in the fire which broke out at 9am in a sports shop between Souq Al Deera and Souq Al Aseeri.

Sufism vs. Spirituality..

Not only because Arabic is my mother tongue, but I had been raised in Egypt, with close environment to the Sufi Orders.. Regretfully, Sufi Nasheeds in Egypt had turned into folkloric assets, with disconnect to their religious referrals.. This had seriously contributed to the obvious decline of Egyptian Sufism during the last 20 years.. which is an authentic partner of the Egyptian Culture..
Egyptian Sufi Orders could not advocate the essence of their epistemia, while been viciously attacked by both fundamentalists and seculars, at the same time.. The famous Sufi Festivals of Egypt, including celebrating birthdays of Ahl AlBaiet and Imams, had also turned into entertainment occasions rather than the authentic role in religious upbringing and education..
The subject performer, despite been old enough to witness the modern glorious days of Egyptian Sufism in 1950th till 1970th, he had; along with many of his peers, to transform into spirituality rather than Sufism.. Notably, many of these performers neglect their religious duties and rituals for contradicting behaviors and addictions..
I guess I have to note for the common good..!

Sudanese Simplicity..

Many years ago, I had had the same plan, at the same magnificent spot, or further South.. Yet, I discovered that sanctuary can’t be progressive, but harmful to the personal content.. We always need the other people to learn, scrutinize and teach..
A divine cycle of epistemic sustainability..

Our authentic Sudanese way of life is never superficial, but simple and complacent.. Despite the recent replicas of foreign attitudes and trends; many of us feel the attachment to these rural and naturalistic attributes and simplicities.. Maybe one of the distinctions of the Sudanese mindset is the combination of Spiritual landscape, Simple demands and rich sights..

The Day After

It seems my predictions are coming true..!!
2nd round, then suspension if necessary till rewrite the constitution..!

Egyptians are mostly in a State of Shock..
Who supported a candidate, and who denounced another..
All of them are dizzy with the results they did not want to hear about..
The day after comes with headache and confusion after the overdose of unearthly wishes and unrealistic dreams..
In Egypt today; None is a winner.. All are losers..

They all missed the opportunity to build a Progressive Public Consensus..!!

We had used to condemn our Sudanese politicians for their continuous and obsessed attempts to replica the Westminster culture and processing into Sudan..
It seems that Egyptian politicians had made their minds to replica the Washington D.C extravaganzas, tactics and games into Egypt..
The Sudanese had forgotten the role to stick to their political realities.. The Egyptians forgot their Statesmanship legacies..!

Ok.. The Egyptian Presidential Election is not an Egyptian issue..
It is an autopsy of the Arabic political landscape.. It is definitions and characterization of all exposed and hidden players in the Arabic power games..
Everyone is well defined now..
Everyone has to carefully mind his own business..
The coming will never be the same..!

Regretfully, some respectful and promising academics and commentators had slipped within the intellectual spiral or the media extravaganzas of Egypt.. They imagined fictions in politics, utopias in conflicts and dreams in atrocities.. Among... the poor, needy or marginal people; none of them had lived or experienced.. Among the short-to-reach, none had sympathized.. Among the depressed, none had shared.. It is the scandalous stats of Arabic Intelligentsia.. They had proved incompetent to share the future..
They had proved illiterate..!

Some voices are coming out on possible deals among the candidates to block the so-called "Mubarak Regime" to revive again.. As how the incompetence is proven among Egyptian politicians, elite and literates, it is similarly hilarious talking about Mubarak..
It is not Mubarak's Regime, but the Egyptian one.. It can't be replaced in a swift election or single term.. It will require a decade of reasonable performance among all political affiliates to reach a consensus..

Regretfully, most Egyptians insist on how it is their own local game, despite the obvious magnitude and processing..

They insist to isolate themselves, while the scheme is never Egyptian..!!

The Electoral Silence..

Egypt started the so-called “Electoral Silence”, which enables both Egyptians and Observers (like me) to recall, analyze and predict the way forward..

During the last few months; both Commons and Elite of Egypt had proven disarray and hallucinations; whereas the Elite misspelled the political circus, demanded shared knowledge with commons and provided no cushions for political processing..

Intentionally; I shall not define or describe who are Elite or Commons.. who both had used filthy words, adolescent logics and bizarre tools to express themselves.. However, a reader may refer to my older articles on the autopsy of Egyptian Intelligentsia and Mainstreams..

The “Elite” had seriously and resiliently advocated an imaginary political “Utopia”, not only to imitate the well-established democracies, but also to set themselves as benchmark among underdeveloped countries.. The hidden priggism had finally surfaced, in forms of ignorantly sabotaging their own State, viciously challenging neighboring and world regimes, and/or notoriously slaughtering their own selves and any potential public figure..!!

The “Commons” had inevitably developed opportunism amid the social disorder, as resulted from long term economic and social abuse and terrorism mastered by various cults of beneficiaries.. The typical suppression was vulgarly expressed in chaotic revolutionary demonstrations, headless herd-protests, negativities of notable unemployment, and/or awkward criminal misbehave and activities.. The Commons were unfairly utilized by the political advocates for their own gains..

On the thresholds, SCAF (Supreme Council of Armed Forces), BCAGs (Business Continuity Administrative Groups) and GIA (General Intelligence Agency) were observing and collecting data, coordinating plans, processes and reactions, and exercise ivory consensus against immature politicians and literates.. A country with the magnitudes of Egypt; can’t be actually left for circumstantial or coincidental powers to contribute to regional and global equilibriums..

During the last couple of years, since the ousting of Mubarak, many brilliant projects had been initiated by the enthusiastic Egyptian Youth; who had seriously lacked both governance and management to run these endeavors.. While the Elite had been anaesthetized in Don-Kichot-alike political and philosophical fantasias, Foreign Aided NGOs had stepped in with various public and hidden agendas.. Management skills, magnificent tools and open finance had attracted many youngsters; which eventually stuck by permits, counter publicity or prosecutions.. The public frustration had eventually elevated from unemployment to disarray.. Serious talk spread on how righteous was the January 2011 upraising..!

So, what are the forecast for the Egyptian Presidential Elections, coming with couple of days..?

Despite the 2nd refinery of the candidates to a serious competing five among the Thirteen (who were initially 50+), shaming and naming all of them will seriously affect the ballot counts.. Despite how the Islamists show organization, networking and influence, the verdicts are ready to blow any potential victory.. Despite the unspoken back-up for SCAF candidate, the attractive anti-slogans will affect.. Despite the decency liberal or scholar candidates try to emphasis, glimpse of statehood-unfitness are well observed..

Despite how my assay provokes many people, my predictions are couple;

A Re-election, regardless of the justifications (the current election was meant to name, defuse and control both politicians and parties within an irrevocable supreme national security framework).. and A Transitional period of 10 years to establish a democratically stable Egypt..!

Govern vs. Governance

Governments are extracted from Govern and Governance.. They indispensably govern as per the governance; if available.. or by their de-facto process system.. Without “Govern” it is an anarchy, without “Governance” it is a hilarious jungle..

Professionals should jointly work to develop their own code of governance, each in their field.. lobby to legalize it.. and share the fair audit on implementations.. Then, governments will have apply the codes; and govern accordingly..

Regretfully, most professionals are technically busy, and not ready to spare the time to create the righteous code, meanwhile keep objecting to be governed..!!

From a Statehood point of view; This is the practical dilemma..

The Stone

The stone had marked 21st Century mindset, either for Ethical Democracy or Moral Suppressions..

NCP's Article 146: Stoning women to death since 1991
Monday, May 21, 2012
A couple of days ago I read that a 15-year-old girl has been sentenced to “death by stoning” for allegedly committing adultery and consequently admitting her guilt. The report, forwarded to me from a credible source, cited that a Sudanese judge found the female minor, Intisar, guilty of committing adultery and sentenced her to death by stoning – a sentence which apparently comes in accordance with Article 146 of the Sudanese criminal law.
http://mimzology.blogspot.com/2012/05/ncps-article-146-stoning-women-to-death.html

The above eloquent and marvelous assay had brought mix of ideas.. Not only the awful downgrade humanity suffers in Sudan, but also the inevitable questions touching the foundations of the Islamic belief.. Both issues are critical, and should not go unanswered, yet the answers are doors for political hell, not the social heavens..!

Opportunities, precautions and uncertainties during the last 23 years; are clauses to indictment the public rather than NCP.. Yes, both words and spelling are correct; as NCP had released and magnified the historical confusions and contradictions we had covertly had from Nimoli up to Wadi Halfa..

No one, including the so-called intellectual elite had guts to admit the wrongdoings we had.. The typical claims of personal and communal distinction and excellence had easily transformed to unbelievable interpretations of chauvinism and sadism.. Yet, the golden speakers and holy advocates are still around seducing and/or anesthetize the poor public..

Two parameters to consider: An Islamic principle that Ummah will never unite for wrongdoing.. This means if a wrongdoing is publically accepted, they simply are not an Ummah..! Instead of questioning referrals or logic of the ruling, we have to address our moral and ethical eligibilities to be its community.. If we are certain on how we are eligible, then we no need to address the subject as the true Ummah will only suffer minor not major sins..!!

Secondly; The bouquet of syndromes which the Sudanese society experience in the modern history had been denied and eloquently hidden with web of stigmas, taboos and red tapes.. Northern denounces the Southern DNA they have.. Arabs live an ancient racial supremacy.. Non-Arabs interpret an epistemic cause into political pitfall.. Intellectuals live fictions of superiority and complacence.. Factually; no notable sociologist, folklorist or a lawyer had been a Sudanese.. Having isolated cases of achievement has no value in borderless world..

Intisar, Heglig, or others, are easy fuel of the mass media machine, which the 21st century Islamists had proven extraordinary skills to run.. Her stoning is rather merciful than a brother who lost a heart, a community which lost a mind, or a future which is already black..!!

Anonymous Hugs..

Absolutely, a very inspiring idea.. Only, for an urban society..!!

Not suitable for Arabs, Africans, many Asians..!!

Sympathy is inevitably lost by urbanism, whereas life has to be fast, rational and beneficiary.. Competitions over urban resources and fittings is never an easy, whilst brutal, sadist and opportunitists.. Yet, our urbanity is the sole symbol of our civilized excellence, despite the hallucinations and hysteria among the outspoken..
Such idea is not different from Charities, which fill great gap in urban administration and formation.. Urban Peoples needs that “Anonymous Hugs” to restore their humanity though the urban rush..
It is fits outlines of both NGOs and Entrepreneurship..!

Moonfleet Eldai: I think in this metric we do score better and we don't probably need a kissing booth or a hugging booth hence the lack of suitability.
I am speaking of extended families that are nuclear, I am speaking of supporting neighbors and more or less of things that make us compassionate. Not to entirely wipe out these in the urban citizens, I am just saying we score better :)

Azizi Hesham; Pls apply unified experimental measures..
We are not urban enough to fit for the comparison.. That's why I had related it to Urbanity..!

Those who are scoring less, do not advise girls to avoid their Dads, don't make love to the dead wives, don't formally marry at 12, etc.. Once we urbanely fit to the comparison, we shall score nothing but minus..!!

I believe; if we apply any AEME (actual empirical methods of enquiry) among the main domains of our species, shocking and amazing results will reveal, swinging between extraordinary and fiction.. We’re shielded by our modesty and dwellers, whereas no one knows what’s going on behind the closed doors.. When glimpse leaks, scandals and amusements follow..

We’re merely rural, as privacy typically shrink along the ladder of urbanity.. Also, People's readiness to defend their privacy, typically vary..
Nomads walk around with their daggers (or sticks), Peasants suspiciously walk in groups, while City Boys walk alone..!!

To My Team with Love..!

The best movie and performance on the teaching profession..
Teaching is not necessarily in schools, but whenever someone conveys to others knowledge, morals and framework to prosper ahead..

These final closing scenes are very dear to me, whereas I went through the same emotional experience when was leaving my team at DIFC in 2007..
Those overwhelmingly moments; which were deeply engraved in my mind and heart..

Till date, and surely till the last day of my life, I shall remember each one of them..
each little detail.. each laugh, stress or smile..
I can't help it but mysteriously love them all..
No wonder, most of them don't understand why I keep tracking them, passionately calling, or meeting from time to another..
Sometime; I wish if time reverts back, and frozen stops..!!

Those Irreversible Times..!

Being Down There..!

It is a simple, smiling and relaxed image, yet contains all the wrong spellings..!!

Sudan, occupies the lower ranks in most of indexes, apart from Corruption and Slums.. Therefore many compiled elements defeat the national will to prosperously develop and grow the nation.. Many of these are related to the unfit sociocultural system, whereas morals, ethics and referrals are either fictions or outdated.. Nations in times of despair are required to stand firm, discussing, analyzing and drawing their road maps towards the decent wellbeing.. Regretfully, the amount of ego and negativities are greater than the advocates themselves..!!

Standing against the common streams is risky; not only by the inevitable circumstances, but also by the unprofessional responses

However, I guess I have to spell it.. regardless..!

Despite how usually the public memory is short-live:
When Inqaz succeeded to compile the (fit) North against the (ill) South at Heglig..
When people are obsessed with (Millions) currency despite the changed value..
When no one (effectively) stand against the NCP cult and its shameless members..
When Nubas, Nubians, Bejas and Darfurean are treated (rated) 2nd and 3rd class..
When our intelligentsia (whatsoever) turns opportunitists and lobbyists..
When AlRasheed wed in a (Pharaoh) Howdah, carried by All-Blacks..
When universities became (sacred) temples of ego and advocated deceptions..
When security personnels practice (excessive) schizophrenia and sadism..
When no outspoken (ivory-writer) can spell “The National Security Framework”..
When the globe (de-facto) stripped Sudan from Arabic into Africans maps..
When Hilal wed (a notorious polygamous) for exaggerated millions of Dollars..
When we can’t realize how unfit our (awkward) social and gender trends are..
When we can’t stop glorifying a (barren) ivory educational system..
When our borders are whorishly accessible despite the manly noisy shunts..
When our history is rewritten by holy journalists and notorious politicians..
When Sudan became an icon for Women-whipping bustard-Orphans and FGM..
When we can’t stop recalling a (perished) unsustainable civic service..
When no Cliché-Intellectual can define Governance vs. Government..

Therefore, having a dancing President, thieve Statesmen, fake Generals, illiterate Degree-Holders and enthusiastic Mentally-Challenged-Persons and is never a shock to any (epistemic) outlook..

Therefore, having a 2nd passport is legitimate..!!

SS Development Ring..

The world's newest country is poor, unutilized and failed in rates that get further deteriorated and scrambled by time and politics.. The HDIs show critical combinations that would normally take decades to stabilize, rather than progressively change or develop..

No one would blame the fragile intelligentsia or inexperienced administrators to produce reliable frameworks and road maps for developments; while the political lobbyists enjoy stronger overseas support and unaudited funds..

During my professional endeavors, a concept was developed on a constructible orientation towards an integrated national development in the South Sudan.. The stats had been well analyzed, and the numbers were well planned.. In today’s world, finance and funds are only and magically triggered by doubtlessness, compliances and matrixes..

This proposed scheme targets 2,500km of surface transit, 7 regional land ports, 14 urban centers and 5,000,000 acres of agro framing.. This is a wellbeing transformation of more than 2,000,000 capita, with combined monetary revenues of more than $10,000,000,000 per annum..!

SSGOV is not required to invest a penny..!

Discipline vs. Precision..

It's normal for schools in the Far East to have an hour or two sessions in a week where the students are gathered outside in a field or some sort to learn discipline. From things like standing at an arm's length from the person in front of you and half an arm's length from the person to your right, to responding in a timely manner at commands. Students are conditioned to these timings and are ultimately attuned to each others' timings. Speaking and moving in unison when demanded

This is not an "Amazing Japanese Precision" as titled on YouTub, but "Discipline"..

During the last couple of years, Arabic Youth, Intelligentsia and Media-Speakers were all united against the Military Establishments.. This was part of their uprising against the corrupt political regimes; which had full control over the military in their countries.. Inevitably, the demise between politics and military was invisible across the Arab world, as well as in most 3rd world nations..

In this public hallucination, the military was badly named, accused of national betrayal and alignment with foreign imperialists and lobbyists.. All military attributes were condemn as back warding, while the term "Anarchy" was spreading across all levels.. History was in the course of rewritten by the enthusiastic anti-military.. Political dumbness was, and still common practice whereas everyone talks, and no one listens.. However, these hilarious battles still going on, while most of Arab nations are headless and dizzy.. This regretful phenomenon is expected to rule for the next 10 years..!!

Among those military-haters; none had the capacity to civilly define discipline, order and hierarchy.. Certainly, it was moves against the universal culture that Military had contributed to structure.. The people had forgot how history was built by Generals and War Lords; who had visions supported by powers.. Those were not exceptional, but ordinary military leaders.. The military code is a leadership one.. It is part of the civic evolution and growth.. A General can’t be a General if he is not a Leader..!

There is a great divide between Discipline and Precision..

Discipline is not discretionary, but Precession is.. You may choose to be precise or not, but once been disciplined, precision is not your choice anymore.. You will have to be precise even if you don’t want to be..!

This is how the great nations had been.. This is why many visionaries think to maintain the national service, and others who had it canceled advocate to have it back..

Civilization is synonymous to discipline.. Anarchy is never a positive attitude, but a pragmatic beneficiaries and imperialist one..

However, it seems big talk for small minds..!!

Homo-Sapiens vs. Homo-Travaillus

Martouf sets out a number of arguments in favour of a basic income, as illustrated here

Switzerland: An Initiative to Establish Basic Income for All

Written by: Stanislas Jourdan
Global Voices

An initiative to establish a new federal law known as “For an unconditional basic income” [fr] was formally introduced in Switzerland in April. The idea, which consists quite simply of giving a monthly income to all citizens that is neither means-tested nor work-related, has generated commentary throughout the Swiss blogosphere.
The Swiss referendum process is a system of direct democracy that enables citizens to call for legislative change at the federal or constitutional level.
If the initiative to introduce a basic income gathers more than 100,000 signatures before October 11, 2013, the Federal Assembly is required to look into it and can call a referendum if the initiative is judged to be credible.

Pascal Holenweg explains what it's all about:
The grassroots initiative “for an unconditional basic income” proposes that “the establishment of an unconditional universal benefit” be written into the federal constitution which would “allow the entire population to lead a dignified existence and participate in public life”.The law will address financing and set the amount of the benefit (the proposers suggest around 2,000-2,500 Swiss francs per month (or 2,200-2,700 US dollars per month), which is about the same as the maximum current social security payment, but they have not written this into the text of the initiative[fr]). The basic income does not come with any conditions attached: it is not subject to any means testing. It is universal (everyone will receive it) and egalitarian (everyone will receive the same amount). It is also personal (it is paid out to individuals, not households). It is not income to replace a lost salary. Rather, it replaces all inferior income support (unemployment benefit, pensions, family allowance, student grants, disability payments). How will it be financed? Through direct taxation of income and wealth, indirect taxation on consumption (VAT), taxing financial transactions, and most especially through the reallocation of resources currently allotted to financing state pensions and unemployment payouts, social security and other welfare payments lower than the amount of the basic income.

Fred Hubleur makes the point:
The important thing is that this revenue is fixed for everyone without there being a requirement to work; that's right, it is income without employment. This might seem shocking. But at its heart it is an entirely defensible idea. On the one hand, we are fighting against poverty and insecurity, there will no longer be a need for social security to bolster other incomes, and dozens of different and unwieldy benefits. This unconditional income is equally good news for innovation and creativity. We have also made a paradigm shift that dyed-in-the-wool capitalists might find alarming: the liberation of working man, returning him to his status as homo sapiens over that of homo travaillus (ed's note: Homo travaillus is a play on word to describe the working man) which holds such sway in our society.

This new world vision has most notably been explored in the Helvetico-German film Basic Income: A Cultural Impetus, by Ennon Schmidt and Daniel Hani, two of the eight Swiss citizens founders of the initiative:

So here it is. You receive 2,500 Swiss francs every month no strings attached. Tell us how your life would change. Tell us how you would spend your time. What would you devote your life to?

The responses were varied. Antoine would set up a restaurant. Gaetane a farm.
Renaud would devote himself to music:

My first project would be to finish a musical instrument that I am in the process of creating and attempting to put it into production. At the same time I would offer lessons on how to play my favourite musical instrument, one which is not well known in this region.

User herfou70 would prioritise his family:
I am a father (3 children - 6, 11 and 14 years old) and I am the family's only earner. To have a basic income would allow me to devote more time to my children. My wife would also be able to do something outside of looking after our home, allowing her to grow and develop.

On Facebook, supporters of the basic income initiative have launched a competition called “star for life”. Visitors to the site are invited to take a photo of themselves as if they were sentenced to life.

A basic income will “do more harm than good”

But not everyone is convinced by the idea. According to Jean Christophe Schwaab, a member of Switzerland's lower house of representatives, socialists must not support the proposition, which he judges will “do more harm than good and be a disaster for employees”.

He gave the following explanation on his blog:
Supporters of a basic income claim that it must “free people from the obligation of earning a living” and lead to the disappearance of unstable or poorly paid employment, because, as this basic income guarantees a minimum living wage, no one will want these jobs. Now, it's more than likely to produce the opposite effect. As the low level of the payouts will not be sufficient to satisfy the initiative's primary objective, namely ensure a decent standard of living, the beneficiaries will be obliged to work anyway, depsite the basic income. The pressure to accept any available job will not go away.

Lastly, an unconditional basic income would, worst of all, permanently exclude a good number of workers from the job market (by denying their right to work): those who are judged to have insufficient earning potential (e.g. due to disability, illness or lack of qualifications) will just have to content themselves with the basic income.
His analysis is controversial, as can be seen from the comments thread under his post.

From a French perspective, Jeff Renault explained why the left are “dead set against” an unconditional basic income:

The left of the end of the 19th and the 20th centuries was forged on the values of work and defending workers. This fight centres around the never ending defence of the salaried worker and the Holy Grail of permanent, salaried contracts, even through this “status” only applies to the minority.

With the launch of the initiative, Hubleur hopes [fr] that a great societal debate will open up in Switzerland:

This will at least open the door to a great societal debate and the chance to reflect on what we want and to what kind of life we aspire. I've been following the idea of a universal benefit system (amongst other names) for a while. I remember talking about it in a class on instability and social ties a decade ago at university. The idea is frankly very seductive and deserves a closer look. When you look at the world created through the current capitalist, productivist model, you could easily end up longing for something else, for a world that gives everyone a better chance.

Sleeping with the Dead-Wife..!!

It was overwhelmingly interpreted as per our tendency for scandalous and desirous issues.. The Sheikh himself told how weird and unacceptable it is; but he just said to response to a question.. For me, it should not be routed in public, as not everything should be told to everyone.. However, our intellectual set-up is notoriously defective..!!

Most of the "Imams" are isolated from the universal epistemia, and research frameworks.. They are outdated with fatal weapons called "Verses & Hadeeth"; which the Muslim Intelligentsia lacks.. Therefore; the intellectual battles; among illiterate majorities; are always in favor of those ridiculous Muftis.. There is no chance to reform the Muslims Communities; unless this formula changes.. There is no need for any PhD Seculars, but Scholars with least study of Theology, Priesthood, and Arabic Language..!!

“Ignorance of Isolation” is the cage most Muslims had seized themselves inside; yet screaming for the injustice..
It is the cage; the fragile Muslim Intelligentsia die hard to escape, and disintegrate..!!
What are their chances..?

The whole issue is sort of religious fantasy.. It is not required to issue a Fatwa on it.. In all religions, there are issues to be advised privately, not publically, because they don't concern the public.. AlZamzami tried to put it in acceptable and reasonable words, but his mistake was to publish it in the first place..
Then; how on earth it became a legal debate in Egypt..!!!

Does a law is needed; when some nut would mate his dead wife..?
Hilarious Egypt..!

Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW) has appealed to the Islamist-dominated parliament not to approve two controversial laws on the minimum age of marriage and allowing a husband to have sex with his dead wife within six hours of her death according to a report in an Egyptian newspaper.

The appeal came in a message sent by Dr. Mervat al-Talawi, head of the NCW, to the Egyptian People’s Assembly Speaker, Dr. Saad al-Katatni, addressing the woes of Egyptian women, especially after the popular uprising that toppled president Hosni Mubarak in February 2011.

Bitter to comment.. for both notorious Fatwa and vulgar Cartoon..!

Riyadh: Saudi women plan to turn a controversial fatwa (religious ruling) to their advantage and launch a campaign to achieve their long-standing demand to drive in this conservative kingdom.
If the demand is not met, the women threatened to follow through the fatwa which allows them to breastfeed their drivers and turn them into their sons.
The campaign will be launched under the slogan: "We either be allowed to drive or breastfeed foreigners," a journalist told Gulf News.
Amal Zahid said that their decision follows a fatwa issued by a renowned scholar which said that Saudi women can breastfeed their foreign drivers for them to become their sons.
"As every Saudi family needs a driver, our campaign will focus on women's right to drive," she said.
The controversial fatwa, which was regarded as both funny and weird, issued recently by Shaikh Abdul Mohsin Bin Nasser Al Obaikan, member of Saudi Council of Senior Scholars and adviser to the king, has sparked a debate in society.

Muslims of India..

British Indian; Salman Rushdie was the ignition for the 1988 world quest about Islam..
Prior to 1992 Ayodhya's Babri Masjid riots, little was known about the Muslims of India..
It is interesting to understand why Muslim Radicalization in India is almost nonexistent..
It is further interesting to realize the prospectus of Indian Islam..

African-African Slavery..

This story support the claims that Black Slavery is domestic heritage rather than colonial suppression.. Investigating deeper will change lots of the consumed and perceived facts..!!

A Black-Black Slavery; which both Arabs and European had little to do with.. It was only an annex to a domestic Africanpractice.. However, it would be controversial to condemn their seizure of business opportunities..!!

In South Sudan, Girls Are Given Away to Settle Family Feuds
by Tom Rhodes Apr 6, 2012 4:45 AM EDT
The world’s newest country still practices a shameful old tradition. Now a new movement aims to stop it.
Atia Odongi was 8 years old when her family gave her away. A crime had been committed in her town of Torit in South Sudan—Atia was selected to pay the price.
Atia’s brother had killed a man over a cattle dispute, so Atia was handed over to the man’s family as
compensation. It’s a traditional practice in communities across her state of Eastern Equatoria in South Sudan, the country that became independent from Sudan in July 2011, after decades of civil war. For girls like Atia, their life becomes one of servitude and abuse, as the new families often harbor bitterness, taking revenge upon the girls they are given.
When Atia turned 9 years old, she was married to a son in her new family. When that man died of an illness, she was passed on to a younger brother. She spent her days scrubbing and cleaning—and being raped repeatedly by her new husband and other men in the family, with the intention of producing a child to replace the murdered family member. She was beaten if she fought back.
“I tried to kill myself twice,” says Atia, now 14 and still living in servitude.

African & Balck Art..

Exaggeration and challenging the limits are modern urban characteristics for both African and Black people.. Maybe this is a normal reaction of bitter marginalization.. Maybe this is the handy way to show off in times of mass media.. Maybe these are fruits of unknown historical or cultural seeds.. Or maybe just meaningless physical fantasies..

In Africa and among Black people, fewer are the serious social studies or skillful expertise to understand both referrals and evolutions of these communities.. With high rates of poverty, illiteracy and illnesses, people are incapable to seek more than their basic physical needs and commodities.. Art and performances are always mirrors of our intellectual capacities..

The extremes of both vulgarity and naivety are well observed whenever you go across the continent..  Sympathy and solidarity is not that great to stabilize the communities.. Rivals are common scene as extracted from the tribal history and practices.. Power and authority shape politics and social grading, rather than wealth or knowledge..

The interests run by Investors and venture capitalism have no vacancy for humane interventions or long term planned developments.. Nothing encourages any serious attempts to change the long term lasting injustices and abuses among the people themselves.. It is not only a matter of reflections to times of atrocities, but social culture that goes deep in time when African used to sell their natives to foreigners.. Or to the recent one, whereas rural slavery is common in countryside and jungles..

Between the self condemnation and others accusations lay great divide of sustainable civilization..!

The Untouchables.. Hopes of Change..

The Harijans of India are the most sever presentation of social ranking and abuse practices.. Yes, such atrocities are traceable everywhere, in different delusive names and various degrees brutalities..  The Indian Intelligentsia had scored by allowing for the adequate social debate and evolution to take place across the country.. This, despite the bitterness of stigmas and taboos, had enabled the election of an Harijan to be the Speaker of the 1.2 billion Parliament.. Equally, many had climbed the civic ladders in both education and employment.. The Untouchables' case is useful resource for any serious social reformation and development activities..
- More than 160 million people in India belong to this class. Nearly 90% of all the poor Indians and 95% of all the illiterate Indians are Dalits.

-In the year 2000, every hour two Dalits are assaulted, every day three Dalit women are raped, two Dalits are murdered, and two Dalit homes are torched.

-That same year, 68,160 complaints were filed against the police for activities against Dalits ranging from: murder, torture, and collusion in acts of atrocity, to refusal to file a complaint. Sadly, 62% of these cases were dismissed as unsubstantiated.

-40 million people in India, mostly Dalits, are bonded workers, many struggling to pay off debts that were incurred generations ago. Of these, 15 million are children working in slave-like conditions hauling rocks or working in fields and factories for less than $1 a day.

The following is an excerpt from a National Geographic article on the issue:

Human rights abuses against these people, known as Dalits, are legion. A random sampling of headlines in mainstream Indian newspapers tells their story: “Dalit boy beaten to death for plucking flowers”; “Dalit tortured by cops for three days”; “Dalit ‘witch’ paraded naked in Bihar”; “Dalit killed in lock-up at Kurnool”; “7 Dalits burnt alive in caste clash”; “5 Dalits lynched in Haryana”; “Dalit woman gang-raped, paraded naked”; “Police egged on mob to lynch Dalits”.

Despite the fact that untouchability was officially banned when India adopted its constitution in 1950, discrimination against Dalits remains pervading to this day with numbers of attacks actually on the rise. The strength of the caste system lies in its strict tradition, superstition, religious beliefs, and fear of punishment. It is passed on to the next generation as a birthright (or curse) and remains divisive in marriage. The caste system prohibits marriages outside one’s caste to avoid blurring the distinctive lines between the castes. The three upper castes also possess nearly all of the wealth in the country. They enjoy the advantages of their role in society and fight ruthlessly against change in the system. Police corruption due to payoffs by the upper classes also contributes to the continuation of this evil system.

This breaks my heart. An entire class of people, 160 million to be exact, has been defined as worthless from the moment they were born. I can’t even imagine how the Lord must weep over this daily. This system of evil must be crushed. These beloved children of God need to know their worth, their potential, their calling in their lives. Please join me in prayer against this system. We must combat hatred with love, exclusion with open arms, discrimination with equality, injustice with justice. Let’s pray that the Spirit of the Lord would pour down on India this very day, changing lives for eternity.

Harijan (Hindustani: हरिजन (Devanagari), ہریجن (Nastaleeq); translation: "child of God") was a term used by Gandhi for Dalits. Gandhi said it was wrong to call people 'untouchable', and called them Harijans, which means children of God. It is still in wide use especially in Gandhi's home state of Gujarat.
The term can also be attributed to Dalits of Pakistan called the haris, who are a group of mud-hut builders.

Although Gandhi popularized the term, he was not the first person to use it. The female Bhakti writer Gangasati used the term to refer to herself during the Bhakti movement, a period in India that gave greater status and voice to women while challenging the legitimacy of caste. This period started in the 4th century BC but is a living force in India today, flourishing particularly during India's Middle Ages. Gangasati lived around the 12th-14th century and wrote in the Gujurati language.

Dalit is a designation for a group of people traditionally regarded as "untouchable". Dalits are a mixed population, consisting of numerous castes from all over South Asia; they speak a variety of languages and practice a multitude of religions.
While the discrimination based on caste system (not the caste system itself) has been abolished under the Indian constitution, a New York University School of Law based group claimed in a 2007 shadow report to the United Nations that there still is discrimination and prejudice against Dalits in South Asia. Since India's independence, significant steps have been taken to provide opportunities in jobs and education. Many social organisations too have proactively promoted better conditions for Dalits through improved education, health and employment.

There are many different names proposed for defining this group of people including Panchamas ("fifth" varna), and Asprushya ("untouchables").
In 2001, the proportion of Dalit population was 16.2 percent of India's total population. The Dalit population is broadly distributed across Indian states and districts. In 2001, the state of Punjab had the highest proportion of its population as Dalit, at about 29 percent, and the state of Mizoram had the lowest at nearly zero. The government of India recognises and protects them as Scheduled Castes. The term Dalit has been interchangeably used with term Scheduled Castes, and these terms include all historically discriminated lowest castes of India such as Shudras and Untouchables.
Although identified with Hinduism in the past (1883 year data), Dalits and similar groups are also found in Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh. In addition, the Burakumin in Japan, Cagots and Roma in Europe, Al-Akhdam in Yemen, Baekjeong in Korea and Midgan in Somalia are excluded from the surrounding community in much the same manner as the Dalit.

Untouchability is the social practice of ostracizing a minority group by segregating them from the mainstream by social custom or legal mandate. The excluded group could be one that did not accept the norms of the excluding group and historically included foreigners, nomadic tribes, law-breakers and criminals and those suffering from a contagious disease such as Leprosy. This exclusion was a method of punishing law-breakers and also protected traditional societies against contagion from strangers and the infected:Leviticus xiii, 45-46: "And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean. All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be". A member of the excluded group is known as an untouchable.

The term is commonly associated with treatment of the Dalit communities, who are considered "polluting" among the people of South Asia, but the term has been used for other groups as well, such as the Burakumin of Japan, Cagots in Europe, or the Al-Akhdam in Yemen. Untouchability has been made illegal in post-independence India, and Dalits substantially empowered, although some prejudice against them continues, especially in rural pockets dominated by certain other backward caste (OBC) groups.
